The OpenCrate Limited is a Lagos-headquartered holding company that builds and operates focused, high-quality businesses across Africa, Europe, and North America. Founded in 2024 by Kingston Stratis, OpenCrate currently operates ten companies spanning consumer software, logistics, social commerce, creator tools, and physical experiences. The company is privately held and self-funded.

Founder bio

Kingston Stratis is the CoFounder and CEO of The OpenCrate Limited. He is an operator and builder based between Lagos and London. Before OpenCrate, he founded and led several consumer and creative companies. He writes occasionally about building in Africa, the long arc of consumer software, and the craft of running companies.
